The Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage (OSTM) is committed to providing training in the science of massage, with the intent of graduating exceptionally trained, high quality massage therapists. Since 1997 OSTM has helped hundreds of individuals get the training, qualifications and professional support it takes to pursue rewarding massage therapy careers.

OSTM instructors are experienced Registered Massage Therapists, passionate about both the practice of effective massage and teaching new practitioners. OSTM classes are deliberately kept small, so each student receives personalized instructor attention and feels comfortable in a safe and supportive environment.

We offer strong student support, high graduation & state board pass rates, public clinic experience, financial aid to those who qualify.

  • September, 2014 (start date) – Part-time EVENINGS
  • October, 2014 (start date) – Part-time MORNINGS (Syracuse Only)
  • January, 2015 (start date) – Full time DAYS or part time MORNINGS

Flexible Training Options

Whether you’re eager to complete your training in the shortest time possible, or are interested in part-time study in order to balance work, family and other obligations , OSTM has a training options to fit your needs.

  • Accelerated Full-Time Program – 6 Months
  • Part-Time Program, Mornings or Afternoons – 12 Months
  • Part-Time Program, Evenings – 15 Months

All programs are 1,000 hours, and graduates are fully prepared to sit for the National Exam and the New York State licensing Exam.

Reduced Course Load Option – Starting October, 2014

We understand and appreciate that our students have different needs. That’s why we’re introducing the Reduced Course Load Option, starting October 1st, 2014.

Students who choose this option start by taking just one science (Anatomy & Physiology) and one hands-on class (Shiatsu), both in the morning. By completing these two classes before the regular program start in January 2015, you can get a jump-start and keep your course load at a reduced level.

We also offer Continuing Education (CEU) courses, for practicing therapists.
