Convenient Evening Schedule Massage Training Program
Get the Skills to Become a Massage Therapist in a Way That Fits Your Life
At Onondaga, we know the time, challenges and responsibilities our students face. Many of our students are working professionals. That’s why we offer class times to accommodate a variety of people’s schedules.
If you’re interested in holistic healing and ready to make a change, but can’t give up working your current job or taking care of kids/others during the day, the Evening Program could be an excellent option for you.
The Evening Program is ideal for people who wish to continue working daytime jobs while studying. It’s also a good option for those who want to learn massage therapy at a slower pace. The evening program includes the same hands-on training, practical experience and industry support of all the Onondaga programs, but in a format designed to suit your lifestyle. Science, hands-on modalities and clinic practice are taken simultaneously.
Classes run just 4 evenings per week:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- Just 8-10 Friday classes during the program
This course can be completed in approximately 15 months.
As in all our programs, clinic practice hours are additional and some Saturday work is required. All programs are 1,000 hours, and students who successfully complete the program are eligible to sit for the National Exam and the New York State licensing exam.
Student Clinic: Hands-On Work Experience
Massage is a hands-on profession. That’s why an integral part of the OSTM educational experience is the Student Clinic. The Student Clinic provides the public with increased accessibility to massage services at a reduced rate, while allowing you to practice your skills in a supervised setting. Work with real clients and gain relevant, real-world experience before you graduate.
All student clinic work is supervised by a NYS licensed massage therapist.
